The Frenship Tigers took on El Paso Canutillo in Midland earlier this afternoon.
The Tigers looked to repeat this year as District 4-4a champions.
In the first quarter, Frenship Trevor Lloyd got the hand off and ran to the outside for a first down.
On the same drive, another run was fumbled, and Canutillo recovered.
Canutillo quarterback Javier Gomez scrambled out of pocket, looked long to Rogelio Esparza, and it was incomplete.
Frenship's ball, 3rd-and-short, and Frenship got it off.
Trevor Eulenbach turned to look long to Jared Mannon, which was incomplete as well.
Frenship won 14-7.
Next week, the Tigers will play host to the Permian Panthers.
