Frenship Hosting Public Meetings to Discuss Future Attendance Boundaries

FISD invites the public to two upcoming meetings where new elementary attendance boundaries options for the 2014-2015 school year will be presented.

The first of the two meetings will be held tomorrow, Thursday, October 10 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at North Ridge Elementary, 6302 11th Place in Lubbock.

The second meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16 in the Westwind Elementary cafeteria, 6401 43rd Street in Lubbock.

The meetings will discuss attendance boundary options that include Frenship’s seventh elementary campus opening in August 2014. The new elementary campus is located on North Milwaukee Avenue, one-half mile north of Erskine Avenue in Lubbock.

After a presentation of boundary options, the public will have the opportunity to provide feedback.
The boundary options in discussion for 2014-2015 will not affect the current boundaries of Frenship’s three middle school campuses.
