Join the Lubbock Municipal Garden & Arts Center at our Fall Arts and Crafts Festival, for a full day of live entertainment. The one-day arts and crafts fair held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. will feature a full line-up of entertainment on two stages. The day kicks off at 9:00 a.m. on the main stage with the West Wind Brass Band. The Art Alley kid’s stage starts off at 9:00 a.m. with the Knights of Amtgard demonstrating sword fighting. Festival attendees will enjoy a variety of acts that include: a magic show, 50’s music, Tu Tu School of Dance, and South Plains Wild Life birds of prey, to square dancing, cowboy poetry, and a special appearance by Princess Bella at 11:00 a.m.
The family-oriented event includes more than 80 vendors selling handmade craft items and fine art, Collectors Corner-antique and collectable items, concession booths and Art Alley- a children’s activities area packed with arts and crafts, entertainment, games and much more. A Park and Ride Trolley service will run throughout the festival from the parking lot at Hodges Community Center, 4011 University to the Garden and Arts Center.
