LCU Baseball Opens up NCAA Chapter with Different Feel

From the frigid Midwest we come back to the South Plains where it is baseball weather... Well not really, but that didn’t stop Coach Nathan Blackwood and the LCU Chaparrals from hitting the field.

They opened up their first practice post NAIA era, as they transition into the NCAA. Coming off a year in which, they advanced to the first round of the national tournament before falling to Rogers State. And for a program that has been to the NAIA World Series four times under Blackwood, not being eligible for the post season is a fact that they are still getting used to.
