The Brownfield Cubs were taking on the Littlefield Wildcats at Plains Capital Park on Thursday night.
In the first quarter, Brownfield quarterback, Shacolby Hill, and his offense faced a fourth down that he was able to pick up with his feet. Then a few plays later, in the 2nd quarter He cashed in by taking it himself for the score as the Cubs took the 7-0 lead.
On the ensuing wildcat possession though, De'Vonte Mathis got the handoff, would almost get tripped up but somehow kept his balence, and he was gone 78 yards for the Littlefield touchdown to tie the game at 7.
But Brownfield was right back at it, this time Hill used his arm to find Jordan Demps and he found the pylon and Brownfield takes the 14-7 lead.
But Littlefield would storm back to take the 44-36 victory.
