Lubbock Man Arrested, Charged With Robbery After Stripes Hold Up

A 25-year-old Lubbock man is in jail this morning, charged with Aggravated Robbery.

(LUBBOCK, TX) -  A 25-year-old Lubbock man is in jail this morning, charged with Aggravated Robbery.

According to Lubbock police, officers responded to the Stripes convenience store at 2025 Clovis Road on January 3rd.

Police say a Hispanic male walked into the store just after 11:00 p.m., showed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The victim was able to relay the suspect vehicle description to 911 dispatchers and responding officers located the vehicle near 200 North Guava.

Officers pursued the vehicle to 3505 East Baylor where Billy G. Miller, 25, exited the vehicle and fled on foot, but was quickly taken into custody.

Police say Miller was in possession of evidence from the robbery.
