LUBBOCK, TX -- Texas has increased the reward for information leading to the capture of a Lubbock man. Josue M. Reyna, 23, is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The reward is now $17,500.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said Friday morning that in addition to Lubbock Reyna has family ties to Seminole, Brownfield, Austin, San Antonio, Fabens and Eagle Pass. Reyna is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, and approximately 145 pounds.
A written statement said, “He has a violent criminal history, and some of his family members have suspected ties to a Mexican drug cartel.” DPS said he should be considered armed and dangerous. He sometimes goes by the name “Josh”.
According to DPS, “On November 21, 2011, he was identified as the suspect responsible for firing several shots at an occupied residence.”
