LUBBOCK, TX - A Lubbock man, Noel Bills, sued Wal-Mart in early November.  Bills claimed he shattered a tooth in June while eating a salad that he bought from Wal-Mart, 4215 South Loop 289. His lawsuit claimed that the salad was contaminated with a piece of metal. The lawsuit said Bills suffered damages that were less than $75,000.

Correction: the original version of this story indicated an agreement based on the court's docket.  However, the agreement was not for the entire case; it was only for certain procedural issues.  EverythingLubbock.com will report updates as the case continues.
