Tuesday, jury selection will begin in the high-profile murder case of Lubbock Dr. Joseph Sonnier.
In 2013, Sonnier’s body was found inside his own home. His neighbor had called 911 when she saw a broken window at his house. When police entered, they discovered the body of Dr. Sonnier. Initial reports stated that his body was both shot and stabbed.
Shortly after his body was discovered, Police in Amarillo arrested Dr. Thomas Michael Dixon and David Neal Shepard.
Lubbock Police reminded the public Tuesday morning that there is a $20,000 reward offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment or conviction of a murder suspect in the deaths of Tammie Cooper and her three children.
Another round of storms is possible across the southwestern and western South Plains Tuesday afternoon -- better chances arrive for the rest of us Wednesday. KAMC's Kristen Currie has more on the timing and location of today's expected storms.
