Lubbock Woman Pleads Guilty to Stealing $446,000 from LISD

Tina Wipff pleaded guilty today to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from Lubbock ISD.
A Lubbock women pleaded guilty today to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from Lubbock ISD.
Last year Russell and Tina Wipff were indicted for indicted on felony theft charges after school officials suspected them of stealing $446,000 worth of equipment.
They were both employees of a company called Sodexo which was in charge of school maintenance.
Lubbock ISD officials think they would bill the district for electronics and then turn around and sell them on E-bay.
Thursday Tina Wipff entered a guilty plea in a Lubbock courtroom.
Her husband Russell is expected to enter a plea next week.
