Texas Tech Junior Has Started Three Straight Games For USA At 22nd Deaflympics
SOFIA, Bulgaria – Texas Tech junior guard Luke Adams has helped lead Team USA to a 3-0 start at the 22nd Deaflympics, with a key battle with Russia slated for Tuesday at 6 a.m. CT from Universiada Hall.

If the USA Deaf National Team tops Russia, it will have won Group B with a perfect 4-0 record and advance as the No. 1 seed in elimination rounds.
 
Adams has started the first three games for Team USA, including chipping in 11 points and five steals against Slovenia. He added five assists against Australia.
 
Team USA has topped Slovenia (77-62), Kenya (112-24) and Australia (94-35). Russia has wins over Australia (86-35), Slovenia (68-65) and Kenya (95-18). The winner of the USA-Russia game will earn the No. 1 overall seed in the elimination round.
 
Lithuania will face Greece on Tuesday at 6 a.m. CT at Overgas Hall to decide the winner of Group B and the No. 2 overall seed. Venezuela topped Ukraine, 99-97, to win Group C and the No. 3 seed in the event.
