Today the RBC Canadian Open commenced for the third round and the big storyline today involved Hunter Mahan. The second round leader had to withdraw from the tournament after receiving a call that his wife was in labor with their first child.
But plenty of golf was to be played. On the 18th Dustin Johnson made a beautiful second shot on the par 5, which lands about five feet of the hole. He would eagle for a 9-under-63 and go on to finish -11 at day's end.
On the 16th Matt Kuchar drained a birdie to go 11-under on his way to finishing in a tie for third at 12-under.
Then on the 11th, Brandt Snedeker sank the birdie putt to go to 12-under. He will enter the final round as the leader at 14-under.
