Man Dies in Overnight Intersection Crash

One man is dead after a crash at 34th and the I-27 access road, early Friday morning.
An overnight crash in Lubbock turns deadly.

It happened at 34th Street and I-27 around 1:00 Friday morning.

Police say one car was westbound on 34th street, and went into the intersection with a green light. Then another car, southbound on the access road, ran the red light.

Three people went to the hospital. One of the passengers in the truck was pinned inside, forcing emergency crews to use the "jaws of life" to get him out.

That passenger later died at UMC: 26-year-old Abraham Molina.

Police are still investigating the accident.
