With just a few hours left in 2013 folks are left wondering how to ring in the new year and the Overton Hotel has a few good ideas.

“Tonight we have a special dinner in our Pecan Grill restaurant,” Marci Reno said. “It is $125 for two people. It’s a four course meal; it includes a glass of champagne, it’s absolutely delicious. So we still have reservations for that.”

Sales Manager Marci Reno said their chef has been working on the menu for weeks.

“These are all things the chef has really worked on and perfected the plates are going to be absolutely beautiful,” Reno said.

After you fill up on food and champagne you can head up stairs for a party away from home.

“We still have guest rooms available,” Reno said. “So if you want to just come and have dinner and have a great night and stay at the hotel you can still do that.”

But don’t forget about the kids-Bodyworks Adrenaline City is locking kids in for a night of fun.

“Just to create a fun, safe environment for kids to come, parents can go do their thing,” Events Manager April Weems said. “Like a free babysitting service except it’s not free.”

But it is only $30.

“[It’s] from 10pm to 6 am, you can register from 10-11,” Weems said. “They have to be ages 10-17, they get unlimited play and we will serve them pizza and a drink.”

Kids can play on the ropes course, laser tag and jump city.

But are the babysitters up for the all night celebration?

“I’m game, I’m game,” Weems said. “I’m good.”
