PLAINVIEW—Plainview High School’s Choral Music and Theatre Departments are proud to present a hit off-Broadway musical revue, Forever Plaid. The show will run Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 pm at the historic Fair Theatre in downtown Plainview, with a 2:00 pm matinee on Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students.

Starring Robby Riley, Aaron Chávez, Chris Ontai, and Jacob Richburg as the show’s main characters, Jinx, Frankie, Sparky, and Smudge, respectively, Forever Plaid tells the story of a 60’s male quartet that die in a car accident. God grants them one wish, and they are allowed to come back to Earth for one night to perform the show they never got to perform when they were alive.

The Plaids cover many hits and standards from their day and features tributes to Ed Sullivan and the quartet’s hero, Perry Como. Some of the timeless musical selections include “Sixteen Tons,” “Chain Gang,” “Heart and Soul,” and “Love is a Many-Splendored Thing.”

The show is directed by Jennifer Riley. The Musical Director is Sally Bass, and the producer is Walter Wright. The show’s stage managers are Alex Driggars and McKenzie Rhoades. If you have any questions, or to purchase tickets, call the PHS Theatre office at (806) 296-3367.
