DPS reports a plane crashed in Dickens County four miles north of Dickens near county roads 149 and 129 around 5:30a.m. There are reports of one fatality. Sources tell us the plane belonged to Lubbock firefighter Jake Jenkins.  We're told Jenkins has been with the department since 2005.  There's been no word if anyone else was in the plane.  We're told the firefighter was a pilot, but it's not been confirmed he was actually flying the plane when it went down.  Federal investigators are expected to release a report on the crash Monday afternoon.  Check back here at everythinglubbock.com for the latest details.
