Police Investigate Armed Robbery of Lubbock Grocery Store

A suspect remains on the loose after robbing the Lowe's Market on the 2700 block of 26th street.

On January 6th at 5:48 am officers responded to a robbery at 2706 26th st. Lowe’s Market. As the store manager unlocked the front doors to open the business a Hispanic male walked up, pointed a gun at the manager and demanded to go inside. Once inside the suspect demanded money and struck the manager over the head causing minor injury. The suspect fled after taking money from the manager.

 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male approximately 5’10” in his late 20’s to early 30’s wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white passenger car that is very dirty and looks like an older Crown Victoria police car or Ford Taurus.
