Police Looking for Leads in 22 Year Old Cold Case

The Lubbock Police Department is seeking new leads on the 22nd year anniversary of the unsolved murder of Barbara Hinojosa.
22 years ago on October 12th, 1991 police found Barbara Hinojosa stabbed to death at her home in the 200 block of East 37th Street.

Charges have never been filed in this case and the murder case remains unsolved.

Police want to remind citizens the case is open and active and investigators continue looking for any new leads.

If the public has any information pertaining to Hinojosa's case you are asked to call Crime Line at 741-1000 or text your tip to 274637, and include the keyword "LBKTIPS" at the beginning of your text message followed by a space.

Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
