Rip Griffin Robbery Suspect Arrested, Police Say

Lubbock Police said Wednesday that officers identified and arrested the suspect from the January 20 Rip Griffin robbery at 4257 34th Street.
LUBBOCK, TX -- Lubbock Police said Wednesday that officers identified and arrested the suspect from the January 20 Rip Griffin robbery at 4257 34th Street. David Paul Reazola, 24, of Lubbock was arrested before noon on a parole violation.

Charges for the robbery were not yet filed as of Wednesday afternoon. Police said a man entered the store Monday evening, chose a few items, and the implied to the clerk that he had a weapon. A police report said he took Gatorade, cigars and a carton of cigarettes.

A police statement on Wednesday said, “We would like to thank the citizens of Lubbock further assistance and encourage the continued use of Crime Line.”
