‘Senior Sack’, Gabe Rivera was honored tonight at the College Football Hall of Fame enshrinement in Atlanta.
Rivera going in with a class that included, players like, BYU quarterback Ty Detmer, Syracuse wide receiver, Art Monk, and Rice quarterback Tommy Kramer. Rivera averaged 80 tackles a season for the Red Raiders from his defensive tackle spot. His senior year he tallied 105 tackles, 10 of those for loss along with five sacks. He is the fifth Red Raider to be enshrined into the College Football Hall of Fame.
