Coming into the final round at the U.S. Open, Phil Mickelson was the leader but Justin Rose was creeping up.

On the 13th hole, he sunk the long birdie putt for the outright lead at 1-under.

Then over on the 15th, Phil Mickelson missed a long par putt and would bogey to fall out of lead at 2-over.

Back to Rose, he putt with fairway metal out of the rough just off green and barely missed birdie, and he'll tap it in for par and remain the leader at 1-over. So he waits for Mickelson to finish as he watches from the clubhouse.

Mickelson has to sink the pitch shot for a tie but the ball ran past the hole making Justin Rose your U.S. Open champion, his first major championship win.
