With the completion of summer school, and Graduation last week, the Red Raiders, can no focus solely on football, as they inch closer to the season opener on September 1st against Northwestern State.

"Now, as I told them yesterday, it's all focus," Tuberville said, "This is nothing but football for about seven or eight days, and it'll be daylight till dark."

After practice on Monday Coach Tuberville made it clear that football was the only priority for his players beginning this week.

"It'll be a good week for us," he said. "This is, will be a little bit like pro ball for the next week, week and a half, just nothing but football and a lot of these guys need it."

With limits on how much they can practice in full pads during the day, Tuberville says there will be plenty to do once they leave the field everyday.

"You only get to practice one time," he said, "But we'll have walk through's we'll have a lot of things for these young guys to work on."

Tuberville said, much of the work will come in the film room.

"We'll watch a lot of film," he said. "We'll watch a lot of film on some teams that we'll play, in terms of what they're gonna see."
