This is three year old Coryn.

            Her grandma calls her Corrie.

Coryn is in the hospital for the second time in two months for pneumonia.

Her favorite Christmas song is ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Her Christmas morning was spent attached to tubes in the hospital with her mom, grandma and two older brothers.

The woman bringing her and her family so much cheer is music therapist Amy Andrus.

Andrus brought her drums, bell and of course her voice.

Normally she works with geriatric patients but she was happy for a change in venue and a younger crowd.

“They [Covenant] are having a vision for music and medicine and the potential positive impact that music therapy can have on some of their patients,” Andrus said.
