South Plains College is headed back to the Junior College National Championship for the second time in four years.

The Texans (35-0) shot 68 percent en route to the 95-75 win over Eastern Oklahoma State in the semifinals Friday night. The 35th win was Steve Green's 300th win as head coach of South Plains and one that earned them a place in the championship match against Northwest Florida State Saturday night at 8:00 pm.

Marshall Henderson led the way with 28 points, 22 came in the first half alone. Tymell Murphy was not far behind with 22 on the night.
