LUBBOCK, Texas - Three Red Raiders earned All-Big 12 Tournament Team honors as announced today by the conference office.
Sophomore forward Janine Beckie, junior defender Jaelene Hinkle and junior midfielder Paige Strahan were each tabbed to the team following the conclusion of the championship match today in Kansas City.
Tech was one of three schools to place three or more players on the All-Big 12 Tournament Team.
Strahan netted Tech's game-winning goal over TCU in the quarterfinals, leading the Red Raiders to a 1-0 victory by way of a long strike in the 31st minute of Wednesday's contest. Texas Tech picked up its 16th shutout with the performance.
Hinkle picked up her 14th career assist on Strahan's goal, moving her into a tie for fourth all-time at Texas Tech.
Beckie makes her second consecutive appearance on the All-Big 12 Tournament team after being named to the squad following the 2012 Big 12 Soccer Championship in San Antonio.
Texas Tech advanced to the semifinals of the conference championship for the second consecutive season.
