Tech's Comeback Against LSU Falls Short

Robert Turner's potential game-winning three doesn't fall in the final seconds in Texas Tech's 71-69 loss to LSU.
Texas Tech had a shot to move to 7-0 at home on Wednesday night, but a Robert Turner three pointer at the buzzer wouldn't fall, as Tech fell 71-69 to LSU.

The Tigers came out very hot from the three point line making three of their first four shots from deep, but Texas Tech was able to battle back and tie the game late in the first half, before going to the locker room down by five.

The LSU lead would hover around five until late in the second half when they stretched it to a nine-point advantage but the Red Raiders would go on a 7-0 run to get within two points, with 10 seconds to play.

Turner's 3 pointer would not go down as the buzzer as LSU escapes with the 71-69 win.

Jaye Crockett led all scorer's with 18 points, while Robert Turner finished with 14. Next up, Texas Tech Travels to Tempe to take on Arizona State on Saturday December 21 at 5:30 p.m.
