LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech’s volleyball match at Baylor Wednesday evening has been moved up to a 6:30 p.m. first serve in order to accommodate a FOX Sports Southwest television broadcast.
The match was originally slated to begin at 7 p.m. inside the Ferrell Center in Waco. Baylor (11-16; 3-8) won the previous meeting between the two schools with a 3-1 victory on Oct. 26 earlier this season at the United Spirit Arena.
Tech, however, is coming off possibly its best performance of the season last Wednesday when the Red Raiders (9-18; 2-9) defeated the Wildcats for the second-straight season via a 3-1 victory. Jenna Allen led Tech with 23 kills on the outside while Rachel Brummitt recorded 21 digs en route to snapping the school’s single-season digs record with five matches still remaining.
This will be Tech’s seventh of nine scheduled television appearances this season, four of which that are Texas Tech TV on FOX broadcasts. The Red Raiders will also appear on FOX College Sports for their Nov. 20 match against Oklahoma at home and then Metro Sports/ESPN3 on Nov. 23 at Kansas.
