Three Reported Dead In Plane Crash Near Amarillo

A small plane, missing on a flight from Lubbock to Amarillo, has been found. <span style="color: #f10011;">UPDATED</span> Monday 12:35 PM.
LUBBOCK, TX -- Early Monday afternoon, officials released the names of three victims who died in a plane crash near Amarillo. 

Their 1999 fixed wing, single engine Raytheon airplane went missing early Monday morning on a flight from Lubbock to Amarillo.  It was found after it crashed two miles north of Highway 60 in the area of FM 1912 and North Parsley Road.

The Texas DPS said the victims - all from Canyon - were William Michael Capt, 48; William Michael Capt II, 19; and Robin Lea Capt, 48. 

Meteorologists reported foggy conditions across the Texas panhandle at the time of the crash. According to the Federal Aviation Administration the pilot was in contact with air traffic controllers in Albuquerque, New Mexico at one point before disappearing from radar.
