Tropical Smoothies

Registered Dietitian Margie Kitten shows us in the KLBK Cafe how to make a pair of delicious smoothies, just in time for a HOT Memorial Day Weekend!
Tropical Smoothie
1/2 ripe mango, peeled and seeded
1/2 ripe papaya, peeled and seeded
1 ripe banana
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup nonfat yogurt
1 teaspoon honey
2 cups ice
In a blender, combine the mango, papaya, banana, orange juice, milk, yogurt, honey and ice.  Blend until smooth.
Papaya-Banana Smoothie
1 cup milk
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon pur vanilla extract
1 small ripe banana, peeled and sliced
1/2 large, ripe papaya, peeled, seeded and chopped
1 cup ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
