Valero Robbed Twice At Gunpoint, Possibly Same Crook Both Times

Lubbock Police think the suspect from a November 30 robbery may have returned to the scene of the crime Sunday so he could do it again.
LUBBOCK, TX -- Lubbock Police think the suspect from a November 30 robbery may have returned to the scene of the crime Sunday so he could do it again. Police are not saying for sure it is the same suspect, but say “it is possible.”

A Black Man in a light blue hoodie displayed a handgun at the Valero convenience store, 3311 Avenue Q. at 7:15 pm. He demanded that the store’s cash register be open and after grabbing “an undisclosed amount of money” he ran away.

The suspect is described as 35 – 50 years old, 5’10”, and 150 pounds. The description is similar to the previous Valero robbery. Anyone with information can anonymously call Crime Line at 806-741-1000.
