Two local businesses came together for a common cause.
Buca's Sports Grill & Bar and Accessory Depot joined forces to raise money for Make-A-Wish and they did it on the golf course.
More than 100 people took time away from their busy lives to swing their clubs for the good cause.
"I’m just really grateful for how big it's grown," Lauren Raynes said.
Raynes is a manager at Buca's.
That's where the idea for the golf tournament started and it grew so fast, Accessory Depot decided to dive in.
"I had a lot of guys I didn't have any idea who they were, who were just calling because they heard Make-A-Wish was putting something on. People just really hear the word Make-A-Wish and they want to find a way to give back,"
The goal was to raise $10,000 and that's exactly what they did.
