LUBBOCK, TX - Happy Sunday everyone! We saw another warm day today across the South Plains along with more isolated storm activity. This evening the storm chances will continue not only through the night but into tomorrow along with a big cool down. You'll want to grab the umbrellas because we will see the higher potential for storm activity Monday and Tuesday before the chances begin to decrease Wednesday. Some of these storms will have the capability of dropping heavy amounts of rainfall therefore, localized flooding will be a possibility. Don't try to drive through any pooling water, remember, turn around, don't drown. Tomorrow high temperatures will drop into the low 80's providing another nice break from the summer time heat. High's will remain in the 80's on Tuesday before we begin another warm up on Wednesday. Very similar to last week high's will climb into the low 90's before we see another possibility for cooler weather on Sunday. Low temperatures this week will be between the mid 60's and low 70's. Make it a great week!
