LUBBOCK, TX - The cloud cover is pouring in from the northwest as we start this Thursday. That northwest flow is going to bring in more dry air this afternoon. That is not what we want to hear, but as long as La Nina is in control, that is what we will have. Those clouds are staying at the mid-levels and the only sign of moisture we'll see today. The wind is going to increase from the south at 15-20 mph today. We'll see sunny skies in the afternoon, with a high temperature of 71°.
Overnight, there will only be partly cloudy skies. So, not as many clouds as what we saw this morning. Those clouds will still influence the overnight low temperatures. We'll drop down to only 41° to kick off your Friday. The afternoon tomorrow is going to see mostly sunny skies, with wind out of the west at 10-15 mph. Lubbock will make it to a high temperature of 80°. So, as we kick off Spring Break, it will certainly feel like it here!
