LUBBOCK, TX - It is getting cold out there, as yesterday's cold front has brought change to the South Plains. The clouds are going to linger throughout the day today. So, if we do get some sunshine, it will be limited. Otherwise, the colder air will take control. Expect to see a high temperature of 60°, which is back below average. The wind will be at 10-15 mph, so it will feel more like 55° out there today. Keep a jacket handy, because it is going to feel quite chilly all day.
Even though we'll see cloudy skies to start the day tomorrow, the cold air mass will win out and things will get frigid to the northwest. Lows there will be down into the upper 20s. Lubbock will drop down to 33°. There will be a few light showers around, but pretty much all of us will stay dry in the morning. The afternoon will clear off with mostly sunny skies. However, the high is only going to make it to 46°. Be ready to bundle up!
