KLBK Midday Web Forecast October 11, 2017

LUBBOCK, TX - The warmest day over the next seven is going to be on Friday. We're going to see more sunshine and no clouds out there in the afternoon. The wind will be on the increase to 10-15 mph. That flow will be out of the south-southwest, which is the reason for the warmest air of the week. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 86°. Highs will be near 90° in the Rolling Plains. The warm air will stick around for Saturday, too.

Saturday morning will begin with temperatures only in the low 60s. Our south-southwest flow will continue to keep the air warm all day long. Lubbock will see mostly sunny skies, with a high temperature of 83°. The wind will remain at 10-15 mph. A cold front will move in late Saturday and early Sunday morning. This will bring isolated showers that leave before 7:00 am Sunday. Expect cooler air and a windy day on Sunday.
