
BrenShavia Jordan joined KLBK in June 2022 after moving from sister station KWKT Fox44 in Waco, Texas.
She takes pride in going above and beyond for people in the community. She helped a family get FEMA assistance after the 2021 winter storm damaged their home. BrenShavia also helped a woman stuck in Honduras return to the U.S after the CDC banned dogs from returning due to high risk of rabies. In addition, she contributed to reuniting a man with the ashes of his best friend after it was confiscated at a TSA checkpoint because it was in a bullet-shaped pendant necklace.
BrenShavia, a native of Fort Worth, graduated from Baylor University and holds a degree in Journalism with a minor in Entrepreneurship. While attending Baylor she served as a reporter and anchor for Baylor’s Lariat TV News.
When she is not reporting, she loves spending time with her husband Quintin and their two children. BrenShavia is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
BrenShavia is passionate about storytelling and connecting with her local community. She is grateful to be a part of the team and share all West Texas has to offer!
