Kamryn Mendoza is no stranger to KAMC or the 806.
From San Antonio Texas, Kamryn grew up with a passion for news and storytelling. She knew from the moment she wrote her first story for her High school newspaper, she was meant to be a journalist.
Kamryn graduated from Texas Tech University and is a proud first-generation student and red raider, Wreck Em’ Tech! She joined KAMC and KLBK as an intern back in the Summer of 2022 for her college internship and spent every day following reporters ready to live out her news dream on her own.
This will be the fourth year Kamryn has been in Lubbock and it never fails to feel like home. She’s excited to start her career in Lubbock and bring you West Texas stories like you’ve never seen before.
While she’s not on the air, She enjoys road trips with friends and family and trying new restaurants all over town.
