Skylar Soto joined our KLBK news team as an MMJ in July 2021. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, otherwise known as El Chuco town or the Sun City, but she is excited to call the Hub City her new home!
Skylar graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies. As a student, Skylar was involved in her live, student-produced college news station, KRWG-PBS. She served in production as a technical director, director and audio.
While in El Paso, she held an internship at KTSM-9 News.
Skylar enjoys traveling, music, food, her dog, spending time with friends and family.
