Coronavirus causing strain on Lubbock health care system

LUBBOCK, Texas — As of Thursday, 364 people were being treated in hospitals across our region.

Trauma Service Area B, which includes Lubbock County, has been above 15 percent capacity for more than two weeks now.

Dr. Sameer Islam, Chair of Lubbock’s Medical Society, speaks about the strain it’s causing on our health care system.
