Lubbock, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) – Plain Brown Wrapper will be at the Buddy Holly Center’s Summer Showcase Concert Series on Thursday, July 1, 2021.
Plain Brown Wrapper is a band with four talented, award winning, musicians whose individual careers have crossed the U.S. and Europe. Although the band members are currently work as solo acts and “hired guns” in popular bands, they come together on occasion as Plain Brown Wrapper to become one of the most earthy and tightly strung bands in the country.
The roster is deep, with years of experience. The band is composed of D. G. Flewellyn (lead singer and rhythm guitar), John Sprott (vocals and lead guitar), Sean Frankhoauser (acoustic upright double-bass, electric bass and vocals) and J.T. Paz (percussion and vocals). Together, these four musicians play everything! From rock to soul, country to jazz, it’s all there in the Plain Brown Wrapper!
