1 suffers non-serious injuries in Central Lubbock shooting

LUBBOCK, Texas– One person suffered non-serious injuries Thursday after reports of shots fired in Central Lubbock.

At approximately 2:15 p.m., officers responded to report of a person with a gunshot wound that occurred near the area of 50th Street and University Avenue, according to Lubbock Police.

The person, who was not identified by police Thursday, was taken to University Medical Center.
