The Children’s Home of Lubbock invites the Lubbock community to attend our first ever Chase Away Child Abuse: 5K and Family Fun Run on Saturday, April 6.
April is Child Abuse Awareness month, and The Children’s Home is partnering with Sondra’s Song to put on a day honoring anyone who has been a victim of child abuse. The day will include a BBQ fundraiser, yard sale, inflatable games, face painting, and a visit from Kona Ice. This will be a family friendly event, so everyone is welcome to attend.
Entry fee for the 5K is $30 and includes a t-shirt, water bottle, and racing bib. To register for the 5K, visit https://one.bidpal.net/chol5k or runners can register day-of beginning at 8:30 am. The race and family fun run will start at 10:00 am. It’s going to be a great day!
