COVID-19 Update: City of Lubbock reports 121 new cases on Wednesday

LUBBBOCK, Texas — On Wednesday, the City of Lubbock Public Health Department reported 121 new cases of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the county.

This was the highest number of new daily cases reported since late January 2021.

No additional deaths were reported in the latest update.

A total 50,605 cases have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic with 48,915 listed as recovered and 737 deaths.

A total of 953 cases were reported as currently active.
