LEVELLAND, Texas — After executing two search warrants on May 10, Texas Department of Public Safety special agents seized drug test falsification devices, THC products, a small amount of marijuana and numerous untaxed cigarette and cigar cartons from a business in Levelland.

According to KLVT Radio, DPS agents executed the search warrant of JoJo’s Smokes and Cokes after the sale of synthetic urine was made to their undercover officer.

Consuelo Almager, 58, was arrested and charged with delivery of a drug test falsification device, according to Lt. Bryan Witt, a DPS spokesperson. He also said Cora Justice Castillo, 25, was arrested and charged with delivery of a drug test falsification device and possession of marijuana.

He said these devices are commonly used to bypass pre-employment drug screening and probation and parole drug tests.

The case was investigated by DPS with the assistance of the Levelland Police Department, Hockley County Attorney’s office and the 286th District Attorney’s office, according to KLVT.
