FLOYD COUNTY, Texas — Floyd County Judge Marty Lucke signed a proclamation Tuesday that allowed outdoor gatherings of more than 10 people in the county.

On July 2, Governor Greg Abbott issued a proclamation banning outdoor gatherings of more than 10 people, unless the county judge approved of the gathering.

Lucke added that he encourages Floyd County citizens to follow CDC guidelines and practice “practical distancing.”
