A former Lubbock resident, Stormie Devon Callison, 22, was identified as the victim of a deadly February 1 shooting in Bartlett, Texas.

According to the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office, officers found the suspect’s vehicle in Burnet County more than six hours after the shooting. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and DPS helped out.

“The suspect was believed to be armed,” an official statement said. “A DPS Aviation Unit drone was used to observe the suspect, who was still at his vehicle, while a tactical unit was assembled to apprehend him.”

Archie Samuel Rogers, 32, of Bartlett was arrested according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials have not said how Rogers and Callison knew each other.  The shooting was at an address that matches Roger’s address on his driver license.  EverythingLubbock.com independently confirmed that Callison used to work at a sports bar in Lubbock. She left Lubbock at least six months ago, according to people who knew here.

Rogers was charged with murder, and held on a $500,000 bond.

Her family has set up a GoFundMe account in her honor. On the fundraising page, the family said the money donated will go toward a scholarship in her honor.
