At the scene, deputies discovered a woman and two small children with “severe burns,” according to a release from the MCSO.

A man was transported to the hospital a short time later.

Meanwhile, at the scene, the home was destroyed as charred debris littered the plot of land.

“Evidently, a pocket of gas built up underneath the mobile home and got into the mobile home,” Painter said. “It exploded, causing the double-wide mobile home to be completely disintegrated.”

Painter said the explosion was so powerful that residents up to 15 miles away felt the blast.

A GoFundMe was created to support the victims. Click here to donate.
