Governor Abbott provides update on Texas response to COVID-19

LUBBOCK, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott talked with KAMC’s Bryan Mudd on Tuesday to provide an update on what the state is doing to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Abbott signed an executive order on Tuesday that, among other things, will only allow essential businesses to run through April 30. The order will also keep all schools in Texas closed until May 4.
