The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday said Clyde Harris, 61, was arrested for aggravated robbery.

FCSO said, “The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call that Lowes in Lockney was being robbed by an armed suspect.”

The call came in Monday at about 6:40 a.m. The Lowe’s Supermarket in Lockney is located in the 200 block of North 2nd Street.

“When [the] Sheriff and Deputies arrived on scene the suspect had fled,” FCSO said. One of the employees recognized the suspect.

The sheriff was able to find him and arrest him at home in the 400 block of Milwee Street.  That’s approximately two blocks away from the store.

As of Tuesday, Harris was held on a $250,000 bond for aggravated robbery.
