Groundbreaking for new LPD headquarters

LUBBOCK, Texas– The City of Lubbock and Lubbock Police Department broke ground on a new headquarters building in downtown Lubbock on Tuesday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m.

The groundbreaking ceremony included remarks from Lubbock Mayor Dan Pope, Chief of Police Floyd Mitchell and City Council members.
